World Amateur Team Championships Saturday 30th

End of 2nd round, and bigining of the final round under the extreme wind.
Tomorrow Sunday ends the great world golf meeting in Argentina

The rain was not present on Saturday and the championship could resume its normal course. Very strong winds were blowing both in the Buenos Aires Golf Club and at the Olivos Golf Club, where the French team regained the lead with seven under par, relegating one to Denmark after the conclusion of the second round. United States, after a strong recovery, is the escort of both -1.

The final possession of the Eisenhower Trophy will be established tomorrow, when the third and final round to crown the winners in this new edition of the WATC. Precisely, French, Danish and Americans will be part of the mainstream and make his first start at 11:36 am in the Buenos Aires Golf Club. Argentina started playing this afternoon

The Argentine team composed of Emiliano Grillo, Tomas Cocha and Jorge Fernandez Valdes began on Saturday afternoon to contest the third and final round of the tournament at the Buenos Aires Golf Club, and was placed at number 32 after the second round . Grillo was who had the best start with two consecutive birdies but then scored three more bogeys and a birdie to stay in par after nine holes. Fernández Valdés was scoring two over par, with only two greens of three putts at the time of the suspension and now Argentina was ranked 28 of the event.


The storm on Friday had forced organizers to shorten the tournament to 54 holes. For this reason the teams were unable to complete the second 18 holes on Friday, had to return early Saturday to the course. The final round started for much of the field of players this Saturday at 16:00 but due to lack of light, around 19:00 due to return to the Club House and will return tomorrow to complete the game. However the best scores of the competition will be finalizing  mid-morning on Sunday at the Buenos Aires Golf Club.
